Please join us Saturday for a reception at Lui Velazquez, located in Tijuana, half a block from the US/México border.

1) UCSD Visiting Arts and Lecture Series kicks of in Tijuana with photographer, Allen Frame, 3pm at CECUT. To get there hop in a cab and tell them "say-coo-t", or Centro Cultural Tijuana address: Paseo de los Héroes No. 9350, Zona Urbana Río, Tijuana, Baja California, México. Tel. 01 (664) 687-9600.

2) Festival of Latinidades at CECUT. A commemorative open-air concert featuring Celso Piña y su Ronda Bogotá, Banda la Bufadora, Los Alacranes, and Sonidero Travesura. Festival of Latinidades.
Cecut is a $5 taxi ride from Lui Velazquez.

when finished at CECUT come to Lui Velazquez. Get a cab to: Calle José Maria Larroque #273, 2nd Floor Int 6 Colonia Federal. This is back at the border. You can tell them to take you to the McDonals near the border in Colonia Federal.

3) The Grand Opening of La Casa del Túnel: Art Center, a 3-story international non-profit gallery, located 2 blocks from Lui Velazquez. La Casa del Túnel will exhibit, Citizen Artists Making Emphatic Arguments, 5-10pm. This space will soon have an international artist-in-residency program and is associated with galleries in Los Angeles. Food, drinks, live music, and a panoramic view of the border. This space is 2 blocks from Lui Velazquez.
